MTEE team wins silver medal
A team of MTEE students and tutors won the silver medal in the Women’s section of the Volleyball tournament held among the Ulaanbaatar churches and Christian organizations last weekend, May 21st & 22nd.
A group of six MTEE students from two churches, ‘Eternal Love’ church, and ‘House of Prayer’ competed with eight other teams and came second. Although widely expected to come away with gold medals, they were beaten in the final by ‘Good News’ church’s women. The standard of play was high, and a good time was had by all. Congratulations to all, especially our team!
The occasion for the tournament was a celebration of twenty years of the Christian Church in Mongolia. The country of Mongolia opened to the gospel in 1991 in the wake of the widespead changes following the break-up of the Soviet Union.
