Greeting from Executive Director

Welcome to the Mongolia TEE website!

Thank you for visiting our website! As the Executive director of Mongolia TEE, I welcome you warmly.

Mongolia Theological Education by Extension (MTEE) was established in 1995 to equip and support the Church, the Body of Christ in Mongolia, to fulfil the Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20). Over the past 25 years, MTEE has been trying to serve actively to implement that vision with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Currently, MTEE has about 340 member organizations and churches both in Mongolia and abroad. It is essential not only to share the gospel but also to disciple believers with the Word of God and train group facilitators who can lead small groups of believers to study the Bible and grow in their faith. MTEE’s main focus is to train leaders of small groups in local churches by providing them with training, instruction and encouragement. Mongolia TEE implements the TEE form of Bible training in Mongolia by offering 28 courses at three levels, Foundation, Certificate, and Diploma. Currently, more than 4,500 Mongolians have studied one or more MTEE courses (this represents about 10% of Mongolia’s active Christians). Between 500 and 600 students are active in a typical year.

The Certificate in Christian Ministry program focuses on training servant-leaders throughout Mongolia. This is a great opportunity for church leaders and workers to study wherever they are. The Certificate in Christian Ministry was accredited by the Asia Theological Association in 2009, 2014, and 2019. The program includes courses such as The Life of Christ I-VI, Paul’s Life and Letters I-III and Christian Family Life. Since 2009, about 196 local believers in the capital Ulaanbaatar, in the provinces of Mongolia and in Mongolian churches abroad have completed the 4-year program, and serve in local churches and in society as leaders, elders and pastors.

In 2018, MTEE prayerfully renewed its vision and values and created a strategic plan for 2019-2024. In the future, MTEE hopes to continue to serve according to its God-given calling and vision. We look forward to training more course group facilitators and providing more courses so that many other disciples can rise up through their ministries.

MTEE is very grateful to and appreciative of all the organizations, churches, and individuals who have supported and worked together with MTEE in the past. We are happy to hear from any organization, church or individual who wants to partner with us and support us in implementing our vision.

All glory and praise be to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Master!

Naranbaatar, MTEE Executive Director
